What do the governors do?
The governors have the responsibility for employment of all staff except catering staff, for determining school aims and policies, and for the upkeep of the buildings on behalf of the diocese.
The full Governing Body, which meets at least twice each term, approves the school budget and the school improvement plan, which covers all areas of the curriculum as well as other aspects of the work of the school.
It regularly considers policy documents covering various parts of the curriculum, prepared by the teaching staff.
