We are seeking to add a new full time primary teacher to our excellent team for September 2021.

Volunteer Treasurer for City Kids
City Kids are looking to recruit a Volunteer Treasurer and Trustee (role is unpaid) to take over from the current Treasurer in 2021/22 when her term of office ends. The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the charity and together with other members of the Management Committee and staff ensure that the charity is run effectively; the position is aptly supported by a Deputy Treasurer.
The role covers the following areas: financial management, governance and strategy, planning, internal controls and compliance, risk management, payroll, payments, interaction with suppliers, bankers and external parties. Also routine and periodic accounting and reporting requirements (including coordination of the independent examination of the accounts), safeguarding of assets, participation in termly committee meetings and the AGM and other ad hoc finance duties.
