KS1 Teacher Job Advert

We are seeking to add a new primary teacher to our excellent team.

We are looking for a full time, permanent, Primary teacher to lead maths. An additional pay award will be given to someone with the suitable experience.

 

We encourage ECTs to apply, as we can offer excellent support from an experienced Coordinator, and, we will support any teacher wishing to pursue further qualifications such as a Masters.

Additional incremental points will be considered to support you working at St Alban's.

Primary Music PPA Teacher

 

This is a Permanent Post

(0.44 FTE) starting in September 2024.

Main Scale – Upper Pay Scale will be considered with experience

 

Following the retirement of our Music teacher we are looking to appoint a Music/PPA teacher who will have the opportunity to supplement their salary by offering piano and guitar peripatetic lessons.

 

We are an “outstanding” school in the city of Cambridge and are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate music teacher.  We are a one form entry primary school with an inclusive Christian ethos. We have a successful and dedicated team who have a direct impact on children's learning and providing them with skills for life.

 

The role will involve teaching all classes except Reception class one-hour discrete music lessons per week (0.3FTE), and preparing the children for services, masses and seasonal celebrations, planning class productions, running the school choir and supporting the school orchestra. In addition to this there will be PPA cover duties.

Midday Supervisor

Hours/Weeks:            5 hours/Term time only (38 weeks)

Salary Scale:               Scale 1C NJC Point 2-3 – salary equates to approximately £9.62 per hour

 

We are looking for a Midday Supervisor, to join our happy, caring, supportive team to supervise children at lunchtime in the dining area and on the playground as soon as possible. This role is term time only, with the hours of work as follows:

Monday – Friday:                             12.00 pm – 13.00 pm. – 5 hours

 

Are you: 

  • able to assist children with manners and socials skills during their lunch hour?
  • able to identify children that might need that extra support to make some new friends and join in games?
  • able to help with the domestic duties included in the daily running of a dining hall?
  • keen to join a happy school with a committed and hardworking staff team?
  • calm and patient?
  • able to work effectively with parents, staff and other adults?
